Jurassic Park Exploration

Welcome to the master page for my slow-burning, long-running quest to sample all the Jurassic Park games out there!

It seemed like a good idea to keep track of all the JP games I’ve already sampled as well as a wishlist of the ones that I’d like to own. My own rules are complicated and inconsistent but mostly they have to be games based on the first Jurassic Park Trilogy (Although I tend to include Lego Jurassic World because it has half the game devoted to the original movies in cute plastic form). I’m not interested in mobile games or minigame/’activity’ compilations. I’m also sadly not adding arcade games to this list, although I definitely did play a pretty good Lost World light gun shooter somewhere. Oh, and where possible I’m going to try and play on original hardware.

  • Jurassic Park (NES/GB) – Nominally a port of the same game, I’ve yet to acquire either
  • Jurassic Park (SNES) – May be tricky to play on original hardware as I don’t, and have never, owned a SNES
  • Jurassic Park (SMD) – Done!
  • Jurassic Park (SMS/GG) – Toying with the idea of resurrecting my Game Gear to play this one… but who knows if it’s resurrectable..
  • Jurassic Park (MCD) – Done! (emulated)
  • Jurassic Park (Amiga/DOS) –Done! (DOS Version)
  • Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues (SNES/GB) – Don’t know much about this one if I’m honest
  • Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition (SMD) – Done!
  • The Lost World: Jurassic Park (SMD) – Acquired
  • The Lost World Jurassic Park (GB/GG/Game.com/RZone)
  • Chaos Island: The Lost World (PC)
  • Trespasser – Done
  • WarPath: Jurassic Park (PSX) – Played some of… and I need to write about it!
  • Jurassic Park III: Dino Defender (PC)
  • Jurassic Park III: Danger Zone (PC)
  • Jurassic Park III: Island Attack (GBA)
  • Jurassic Park III: The DNA Factor (GBA) – Acquired!
  • Jurassic Park III: Park Builder (GBA) – Acquired and player some
  • Scan Command: Jurassic Park & Jurassic Park Dinosaur Battles (PC) – Basically the same game except scan command comes with the bar-code scanner device
  • Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (PC/PS2/XBox) – Done!
  • Jurassic Park Institute Tour: Dinosaur Rescue (GBA) – Pretty obscure Japan only release that was tied in to the jurassic park institute tour attraction. Technically a minigame collection, but I’m pretty curious.
  • Jurassic Park: The Game (PC) – Done!
  • Bonus: Lego Jurassic World – Done!
